Welcome
Be the change, one step at a time.
Throughout our lives, we encounter various challenges due to different circumstances. We usually learn how to deal with these issues by developing strategies through personal experience or by observing others. However, despite these strategies, things can become overwhelming at times, leading to maladaptive emotional and behavioral changes. Tandem Behavioral Health provides psychological evaluation services to help people explore and navigate difficult experiences. Evaluation services offered by Tandem Behavioral Health are listed below:

Navigating Together
Psychological Evaluation
We recognize that mental health and emotional well-being are central to thriving in all areas of life. A psychological evaluation is a comprehensive and personalized process designed to uncover the factors contributing to a person's unique challenges or concerns. Whether it is a child struggling with emotional regulation, an adolescent navigating complex social pressures, or an adult facing barriers to personal or professional growth, this type of evaluation provides valuable insights into cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Full and Individual Evaluation (school-based evaluation)
We understand that every student has unique strengths and challenges that influence their learning and development. A school-based evaluation is a comprehensive process tailored to identify the factors affecting a student’s academic performance, social-emotional growth, and overall success in the classroom. Whether a child or adolescent is struggling with attention, learning differences, or social interactions, this type of evaluation provides critical insights into how they process information, engage with peers, and manage daily academic demands.
Learning Disability Screening
At Tandem, we understand that learning challenges can stand in the way of success. That is why screening for learning challenges can be an essential first step in determining whether a child, adolescent, or adult may need specialized support—such as special education services for children and teens or accommodations for adults in education or the workplace.
Professional Consultation
Independently licensed professionals can use consultation services to help in brainstorming, planning, and organizing conceptual frameworks; problem-solving and navigating difficult situations and/or tasks; developing techniques; and implementing solutions.
Career Consultation
Uncertainty is a common human experience. The prospect of not knowing what to expect, what comes next, or how to respond can be overwhelming and stressful, particularly when faced with significant decisions. Selecting a career path is one such decision that can evoke feelings of uncertainty and be difficult to navigate.
Tandem offers career consultation services to adults who are making decisions regarding college/university experiences (e.g., selecting a major), the workforce (e.g., general job opportunities), and transitions between employers and/or types of employment.
